What’s the Role About?

As our Business Tax Senior, you’ll work closely with the Managers in the team taking control of and dealing with the corporation tax compliance work for our clients to include both basic and complex returns including groups. In addition to assisting the Managers, you will also be expected to provide support to the trainees in the team in terms of their learning and development.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the Managers in the team to ensure UK compliance cycles for large corporates and international groups, ensuring deadlines are met and clients’ needs are exceeded.
• Mentoring and leading junior team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative culture.
• Dealing with enquiries into corporation tax returns as and when they arise.
• Liaising with HMRC, clients and third parties, a necessary.
• Driving growth by identifying tax planning opportunities, mitigating risks, and contributing to proposals for high-value clients.

What We’re Looking For

You’re a seasoned tax professional (ACA, ACCA, CTA, CIOT qualified, part-qualified or equivalent) with experience managing corporate tax compliance and an awareness of large and international tax matters. You have a good understanding of UK tax regulations that impact large and international businesses, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage projects with ease.

You thrive on building relationships, working collaboratively, and delivering innovative solutions that help businesses succeed.
