A Big 4 firm in Leeds is growing its Private Business Advisory practice and seeks a Corporate Tax Manager. You will advise a portfolio of owner‑managed and PE-backed clients on corporate tax matters with wide technical exposure and client contact.

The role is hybrid, based in Leeds with the option to work from home two days weekly, with progression support and development opportunities.

Qualifications

Are you a talented Assistant Manager looking to make the step up, or an experienced Manager ready for real ownership? A Big 4 firm is growing its Private Business Advisory practice in Leeds and is looking for a Corporate Tax Manager to join the team. You will advise a portfolio of owner-managed and PE-backed clients on corporate tax matters, with plenty of technical variety and real client exposure.

Day to day, you will advise on matters such as withholding tax, funding, intercompany balances and structuring, and act as a reviewer for the preparers in the Compliance team. You will have the support of the wider Private Business team on your projects, and you will help train and develop more junior colleagues. If you enjoy technical tax work and finding better ways of doing things, you will have the chance to contribute meaningfully to process improvements as well.

The role is hybrid, based in the Leeds office with the option to work from home two days a week. The firm invests in its people, with a clear progression path and strong support for your continued development.

The ideal candidate will be ACA or CTA qualified, with experience delivering corporate tax advisory work to a portfolio of clients. This could be an experienced Manager or a talented Senior Associate ready to step up.
