Georgiana Head Recruitment Limited is assisting a leading accountancy firm in Leeds to hire a Tax Manager (ACA/ICAS/CTA). The role focuses on advisory work for owner‑managed, family-owned, and PE‑backed businesses with UK and some overseas tax considerations.

The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality tax advisory services, manage client relationships, and contribute to the firm’s growth while working in a hybrid model with some in‑office days. VISA sponsorship is not offered.

Job description

Our client is a large accountancy firm who seek an ACA, ICAS or CTA qualified Tax Manager to join their Corporate Tax Team which focuses on Owner Managed and privately owned groups and PE backed businesses. You will be responsible for the delivery of tax advisory services which include managing all aspects of the client relationship with privately or family owned businesses, private equity portfolio companies and business owners on a broad range of complex matters. Projects will be varied and wide ranging working in close collaboration with national networks. You will advise on the whole life cycle of the business including on transactions. The ideal candidate will have up-to-date UK (and some overseas) tax knowledge and varied experience in more complex tax issues. Hybrid and flexible working available - ideally a minimum of 3 days a week in the office, (part time 4 day week considered). Plenty of scope for development will consider someone looking for a promotion track to Senior Tax Manager/AD. Excellent client base - the work is predominantly advisory with some compliance review. Unfortunately, our client is unable to offer VISA sponsorship.
