Corporate Tax Director - Mid Tier

Location: London

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

The Role

In this role, you will work within a fast-paced client portfolio across sectors like Media, Telecommunications, Tech start-ups, and OMBs. You will be part of a large team with regular interaction with VAT, Transfer Pricing, M&A, and Restructuring teams. Your responsibilities include:

• Advising UK and international groups on domestic and cross-border tax issues, group structuring, tax-efficient financing, inbound and outbound investment, etc.
• Recommending strategies to manage clients’ effective tax rate using intellectual property, financing, and other strategies
• Overseeing teams on tax advisory projects, acting as the main contact for specialists, overseas firms, and external advisers
• Identifying business development opportunities, including internal cross-selling and client networking
• Coaching and developing junior staff

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in a professional services environment or as a Senior Tax Manager in an established practice, or a Tax Director disillusioned with their current firm
• Knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation
• ACA/CTA qualification
