Your new firm

We are partnering with a fast-growing and dynamic firm to recruit a corporate tax specialist at Assistant Manager level to join their Manchester office and be part of our expanding Northern Regional Group. The corporate tax teams in Manchester and Leeds collaborate as one CT North team, delivering corporate tax advisory and compliance services. The team, led by two partners, includes over 20 members from directors to tax assistants.

Your new role

As a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will be diverse, working with clients from various sectors within the Manchester market. You will manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing compliance processes, reviewing and signing off tax computations and returns. Collaborating with partners and directors to identify new client opportunities is also key. There is also an opportunity to develop, train, and mentor junior team members, ideal for an ambitious professional.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you should ideally be CTA/ATT or ACA qualified with experience in complex corporate tax work from a Big 4 or Top 20 firm. Experience in corporate tax compliance is essential, with a willingness to engage in advisory work. While advisory experience is beneficial, eagerness to learn in this area is crucial.
