About the role

We are investing in the Corporate Tax Team in the North West, where you will work within RSM’s national and international network of tax professionals. You will be part of a high-performing tax compliance and advisory team supporting and advising companies across sectors such as technology, manufacturing, leisure & tourism, retail, professional services, and construction.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Operating as a key part of the client service team for various clients, maintaining regular communication with key client members and internal planning.
  2. Delivering high-quality corporation tax compliance services.
  3. Addressing queries regarding tax filings or payments from HMRC.
  4. Providing technical tax advice on issues like loss relief, interest relief, transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, capital allowances, reorganisations, international tax, and M&A activities.
  5. Building and maintaining external networks of peers.
  6. Assisting colleagues across departments on tax-related risks and opportunities, including working on tax due diligence and restructuring projects.
  7. Staying informed on the firm’s capabilities and relevant economic factors.
  8. Enhancing personal skills and knowledge, and coaching junior team members.
About the ideal candidate
  • ACA, ACCA, and/or CTA (part-)qualified.
  • Experience in an accountancy practice with strong corporate tax knowledge.
  • Proven client handling and portfolio management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with specialist tax software is advantageous.
