Key Responsibilities

1. Implement property strategy for UK-wide portfolio of mixed asset classes.
2. Manage various aspects of general practice surveying within a diverse role.
3. Participate in a 20% contributory pension scheme and receive a car allowance or company car.
4. Work in a hybrid model: 30% homeworking, 70% on-site and multi-site visits.
5. Based in regional offices: Stratford-upon-Avon, Bristol, York, Glasgow, or Belfast.

About the Role

This position, known internally as Corporate Real Estate Surveyor, involves managing NFU Mutual's occupied/leasehold portfolio across the UK, including Northern Ireland. The portfolio includes a mix of asset classes such as offices and retail outlets.

You will be responsible for implementing property portfolio strategies, managing lease lifecycle activities, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet space requirements and manage costs.

The role involves supporting short-term projects and encompasses many facets of general practice surveying. It requires travel across UK sites and a hybrid working arrangement.

About You

Candidates should be RICS qualified, demonstrate strong relationship-building skills, and have experience in commercial surveying. A team-oriented mindset, adaptability, and high-quality work standards are essential.

Additional requirements include:

• Membership of RICS
• Proficiency in Excel and property databases like Qube
• Understanding of financial budgeting
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel across the UK
