Job summary

Forbes Solicitors LLP is seeking a Corporate Solicitor to join our Gordon House Office. The role is full-time (36.25 hours per week), Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, and based at Gordon House Office with accessible transport links. You will handle a varied corporate caseload and provide strategic legal advice to clients.

You will work with a collaborative team, manage deadlines, and contribute to client development and the firm’s profile while upholding professional standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with 2–5 years PQE.
• Experience in Corporate department with varied corporate transactions.
• Ability to manage own caseload, meet deadlines and generate fees.
• Demonstrates strong client care in line with the SRA Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied corporate caseload including mergers and acquisitions, demergers, buybacks, and shareholder agreements.
• Provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance to clients.
• Complete tasks and documentation accurately within area of expertise.
• Analyse matters, assess risks, and determine case strategies.
• Negotiate, mediate, or litigate to achieve outcomes.
• Collaborate with Senior Associates and Partners.
• Build relationships with clients to enhance firm profile.
