EY in Belfast is seeking a corporate solicitor for a 12‑month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The role sits in a Tier 1-accredited corporate team handling a varied, international workload and advising some of the world’s largest groups.

The ideal candidate will have NI or English law qualification with UK PQE, strong drafting and research skills, and a collaborative approach to working with lawyers and non‑lawyers alike.

Qualifications

• NI or English Law-qualified corporate solicitor with PQE, some of which should have been gained in the UK in a private practice law business.
• Strong technical, research and drafting skills, with a good eye for detail.
• A genuine interest in problem-solving for clients and working in a multi-disciplinary environment alongside both lawyers and non-lawyers on a day-to-day basis.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Responsabilités

• Support corporate team in Belfast on diverse matters and tight deadlines.
• Assist in coordinating due diligence projects, including international matters.
• Contribute to training and developing know-how and precedents within the team.
• Engage with stakeholders across jurisdictions to ensure consistent delivery of advice.
