Job summary

RSM UK is recruiting a Corporate Reporting Assistant Manager to cover maternity leave from April to August 2027. Based in our National Finance Office, you will support year-end accounts, IFRS/FRS reporting, and taxation tasks, collaborating with external auditors and HMRC to deliver high-quality management information.

You will supervise junior colleagues, prepare technical papers on key accounting judgments, and help strengthen the firm's corporate reporting function while maintaining robust

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel with pivot tables, vlookup, sumif etc.
• Excellent interpersonal skills - able to deal with people at all levels.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated and able to show initiative.
• Ideally qualified with a professional qualification or near to qualification with strong technical skills.
• Ideally with a minimum of 3 years practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review financial statements, ensuring IFRS/FRS102/FRS101 compliance.
• Support year-end audit by collating and reviewing information with auditors.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and deliver management information.
• Contribute to risk management and maintain internal controls guidance.
• Supervise and develop junior colleagues and collaborate across RSM.
