RSM UK is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the Commercial Finance team on a 12-month FTC covering maternity leave. You will partner with business stakeholders to deliver reliable financial insight, robust analysis and practical support, while coaching junior colleagues and contributing to the development of the team.

You will build relationships, review performance, explain variances, and help manage financial risks.

Formación

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification, or equivalent accountancy experience.
• Consultancy/business strategy/professional services experience preferred.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to translate financial information into practical insight.
• Strong analytical capability with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive, solution-focused approach with the confidence to ask questions and clarify requirements.
• Willingness to support others, contribute to team success and engage in continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Finance Partner(s) in delivering effective finance business partnering to assigned stakeholders and service areas.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, acting as a trusted finance contact.
• Work with Finance Partners to review financial performance, explain variances, identify risks and opportunities, and agree actions.
• Communicate financial information clearly, professionally and confidently to the audience.
• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring robust assumptions.
• Identify, escalate and help manage financial risks with professional judgement.
• Provide supervisory support to junior team members and coach where needed.
• Guide and support less experienced colleagues by setting expectations and sharing knowledge.
