Job description

We are looking for a Corporate Receptionist to join our team at one of Rapport’s most prestigious contracts near Canary Wharf. The client is one of the Big Four leading audit and accounting firms, and you will play a crucial role in delivering award winning service to our clients and their guests, offering a one-stop-shop service from reservation through to client journey experience.

The successful candidate will hold the job title of Client Support Services Ambassador.

Type of contract:Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday; shift rota basis between 7 AM and 7 PM)

Travel: Primarily based in London, with coverage at other locations as per business needs. Travel, accommodation, and dinner are provided if required to work outside the main site.

Main responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all visitors professionally and courteously.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate meeting rooms or offices.
  • Manage visitor registration and sign-in procedures.
  • Schedule and coordinate meeting rooms and conference facilities.

The ideal candidate will

  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ideally, have at least 2 years of experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
  • Demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Exhibit strong organisational and time management skills
  • Handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality
