Job summary

ENGIE UK is seeking a commercially driven energy origination professional to lead Corporate PPA opportunities from prospecting to close, linking large industrial and commercial clients with clean energy solutions. You will shape deals, navigate UK market mechanisms, mentor teams, and build a high-value pipeline as part of ENGIE's renewable growth strategy in a hybrid Leeds-based role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in renewable energy origination or structured energy transactions.
• Knowledge of Corporate PPA structures and UK electricity mechanisms.
• Able to negotiate long-term commercial agreements.
• Experience engaging large industrial energy users in decarbonisation.
• Strong financial modelling and viability assessment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Origin and close Corporate PPA opportunities for major industrial & commercial customers.
• Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of large corporate opportunities.
• Advise on decarbonisation, Net Zero, ESG and Scope 2 strategies.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations from engagement to contract signing.
• Structure deals delivering sustainability objectives with commercial value.
• Represent ENGIE at industry events and thought leadership.
• Collaborate across Trading, Risk, Legal, Finance and Supply teams to close multi-stakeholder deals.
