This is an exciting time for NHSGGC as we implement our new ‘Transforming Together’ strategy to support Health & Social Care Reform. The Corporate Planning Team has a rare opportunity for a motivated individual with strategic or operational planning experience to work closely with the deputy director of planning in leading a corporate planning portfolio.
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds with proven experience in planning or strategy, whether from the public sector or consultancy. Healthcare/NHS experience is a plus but not essential. Candidates may already be in operational/managerial roles or seeking to advance into a planning position.
Main duties of the job:
You will contribute to NHSGGC's strategic direction by providing leadership in corporate planning and strategy delivery. Your role includes developing planning frameworks with embedded governance principles, leading and supporting:
You will also lead and develop the Planning Officer team and oversee planning support for the Realistic Medicine Project. This role requires independent working across the organization, collaborating with leaders and teams to support and deliver Board strategies and work programmes.
