Job summary

Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Corporate & Philanthropy Manager to drive high-value corporate partnerships and philanthropic income, funding pioneering research and patient care. As Corporate & Philanthropy Manager, you will play a key role in securing high-value corporate partnerships and philanthropic support that enables the charity to fund pioneering research, innovation, staff wellbeing initiatives, enhanced patient experiences and more. Working within the Charity's Fundraising team and reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, you will collaborate with clinicians, researchers, senior leaders and supporters who are passionate about improving healthcare outcomes. If you are a skilled relationship builder who is motivated by creating lasting impact in healthcare, we would love to hear from you., The postholder will lead the development of high-value corporate and philanthropic income, building relationships that generate significant long-term support for RPH Charity and the patients, families and staff who benefit from its work. The role is expected to deliver sustainable income growth, identify new partnership opportunities and manage a portfolio of corporate supporters, major donors and prospects. You will work with a high degree of autonomy, taking responsibility for developing fundraising plans, identifying opportunities, managing stakeholder relationships and representing the charity at meetings, events and presentations. You will collaborate closely with clinicians, researchers, senior leaders and trustees to create compelling cases for support and secure investment in projects that enhance patient care, research and innovation. Key responsibilities include developing and stewarding corporate partnerships, preparing funding proposals and impact reports, managing fundraising budgets and performance targets, ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations and contributing to the charity's long-term fundraising strategy. You will also support cross-organisational projects and help strengthen fundraising capability across the Trust through partnership management and relationship-building expertise. • Good IT skills including Microsoft office programmes.
• Understanding of fundraising regulation and best practice., Knowledge of CRM systems and donor pipelines.
• Understanding of the NHS environment and clinical priorities., Highly developed specialist knowledge in corporate fundraising, major donor fundraising, business development or high value relationship management supported by both theory and experience, developed through Master's level equivalent training and experience.
• Demonstrable track record of securing significant income or partnerships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, donors and partners.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to identify and develop opportunities.
• High level of organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and exercise initiative within defined procedures, Experience working in a healthcare, charity or public sector environment.
• Experience developing cases for support or philanthropic propositions.
