Job description

Well-regarded commercial law firm in Bristol is looking to recruit two Commercial Litigation lawyers – one NQ to 1 year PQE and the other with 3 or more years’ PQE. The team advises clients of varying size and complexity in both claimant and defendant matters. The successful candidates will develop a broad and interesting caseload, including:

1. Commercial contractual disputes
2. Shareholder and corporate disputes
3. Matters for private equity owned portfolio companies
4. Professional negligence claims
5. Exposure to media and reputation management work

The role offers the opportunity to focus on client relationship building from the outset, ensuring ample opportunities to get to know clients. If you are already qualified, you will have experience working on a variety of commercial litigation matters in a similar or larger firm and are seeking the next step in your career, working with larger and more complex clients. You should be accustomed to working with larger companies and have a good understanding of potential issues, with a particular aptitude for analyzing complex legal matters and providing direct, outcomes-focused advice in plain English. If you are newly qualified, ideally, you will have completed a seat in a commercially-related area of Litigation.
