Corporate Insurance Solicitor - Senior Associate - 5+ PQE

Our client, a Tier 1 international City law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its highly ranked Corporate Insurance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to lead and negotiate transactions, provide expert legal advice, and play a pivotal role in the firm’s growth.

Role Overview:

• Provide non-contentious corporate advice to insurers and other financial institutions
• Areas covered: public and private M&A, business transfers, reinsurance, regulatory matters, joint ventures, and restructurings
• Lead and negotiate transactions with limited supervision
• Draft legal and regulatory advice with minimal amendments
• Supervise and develop junior associates and trainees

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ PQE with a relevant corporate insurance background gained at a highly ranked Corporate Insurance practice, and individuals who have moved in-house and are keen to move back into a top City law firm.
• Demonstrable experience in:
• Insurance sector M&A and restructuring
• Regulatory advice to insurers and/or other financial institutions
• Ability and drive to work on bespoke, big-ticket, and complicated transactions
• Experience working on behalf of banking or other financial institutions would be highly beneficial

It is essential that you are a qualified solicitor in a common law jurisdiction to be considered for this role.
