Corporate Finance Manager

We are now looking for a Corporate Finance Manager to join our growing, close-knit and high-achieving Corporate Finance team. Working closely with highly experienced individuals, you will have the opportunity to assist, progress and develop whilst working on a range of corporate finance transactions.
Main Duties
The main duties (but not limited to) are the following:
- Help manage business sales, business acquisitions, management buy-outs and buy-ins, mergers, disposals
- Undertake company valuation work using multiples analysis and other recognised methods
- Manage Financial due diligence including report writing and reviewing team members’ drafting
- Liaising with clients, in house specialists and other professionals to ensure smooth project management of transactions
- Managing deal databases and drafting key engagement documentation
- Play a leading role in business development, including attending networking events, new client pitches and assisting with deal origination
- Show vision and a strategic perspective and focus on the achievement of longer-term goals.
- Liaising with other services lines to ensure clients have the optimal Westcotts service experience
- Managing the delivery of the project alongside the directors and partners

Attributes, Skills, Experience And Qualifications
Ideally the successful candidate will have the following attributes, skills, experience and qualifications:
- ACA / ACCA or equivalent qualification
- Relevant Corporate Finance experience within the SME space
- Strong commercial and financial awareness
- An aptitude for and desire to be actively involved with business development
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude with an appetite for progression
- Emotionally controlled, confident and able to take ownership / accountability
- Ability to express ideas with authority and conviction throughout verbal and written communication
- Adaptable, organised and conscientious
- Strong research skills
- Strong attention to detail and be focussed on delivering high quality work and analysis
- Evaluative, professional and with the ability to work effectively as a part of a small team

- 36.25 hours/ 5 days per week (flexible and hybrid working is available)
