Accountable Recruitment Limited in the North West is seeking a Corporate Finance Manager / Associate Director to take genuine ownership of deals. The role can be based in Manchester or Liverpool and offers hybrid and flexible working.

You will lead day-to-day execution, manage timetables, interact with business owners and investors, and drive the deal process from start to finish while developing client relationships and your own profile in the North West market.

Qualifications

• Experience within Corporate Finance, Lead Advisory or Transaction Services.
• Experience working on transactions and taking ownership of significant elements of the deal process.
• Exposure to a range of transactions, ideally including business sales, acquisitions and Private Equity-backed deals.
• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.
• Commercially minded with the ability to understand what drives value within a business.
• Confident working directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Strong written and presentation skills.
• At Associate Director level, you'll ideally bring greater experience of origination, networking and developing new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day‑to‑day execution of Corporate Finance transactions, working closely with Partners and Directors
• Manage transaction timetables and take ownership of key workstreams throughout the deal process
• Work directly with business owners, management teams, investors and other stakeholders
• Prepare and review business plans, information memoranda and financial forecasts
• Analyse businesses, financial information and potential deal structures
• Research and identify potential buyers, investors and acquisition targets
• Manage the exchange of information with potential buyers and other parties throughout a transaction
• Identify potential issues within deals and work with senior colleagues and clients to develop solutions
• Support and increasingly take ownership of pitches, proposals and business development activity
• Develop your network across the North West Corporate Finance market
• Identify potential new clients and opportunities for the team
• Supervise, coach and develop junior members of the Corporate Finance team

Are you working in Corporate Finance or Transaction Services and ready for a role where you can take genuine ownership of deals rather than simply owning one small piece of the process?

A leading UK advisory firm is continuing to grow its Corporate Finance presence across the North-West and is looking to appoint at Manager or Associate Director level, with the flexibility to be based in either Manchester or Liverpool.

This is a hands‑on lead advisory opportunity, working closely with Partners and Directors across live transactions from start to finish. You'll have plenty of client exposure, responsibility for driving deals forward and the opportunity to build your own profile within the North West dealmaking community.

Your Attributes:

• Experience within Corporate Finance, Lead Advisory or Transaction Services
• Experience working on transactions and taking ownership of significant elements of the deal process
• Exposure to a range of transactions, ideally including business sales, acquisitions and/or Private Equity-backed deals
• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
• Commercially minded with the ability to understand what drives value within a business

• Comfortable managing multiple transactions and competing deadlines
• At Associate Director level, you'll ideally bring greater experience of origination, networking and developing new opportunities
