GetRecruited UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Associate Director in Corporate Finance in Manchester. You will lead sell-side mandates, manage transactions through the full lifecycle and develop client relationships with partners, directors and advisers.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, CFQ or equivalent qualifications.
• Several years' experience within Corporate Finance.
• Strong sell-side transaction experience, including private equity exposure.
• Ability to lead transactions with appropriate senior oversight.
• Experience supervising and developing junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead Corporate Finance transactions from engagement through completion.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR - CORPORATE FINANCE

MANCHESTER

UP TO £80,000 + GREAT BENEFITS

THE OPPORTUNITY

An expanding Corporate Finance team is looking to appoint an experienced Associate Director to take a prominent role in delivering transactions and supporting the continued growth of the practice.

Working closely with Partners and Directors, you will lead predominantly sell-side mandates.You will manage transactions through the full deal lifecycle, develop trusted client relationships and contribute to business development, team leadership and cross-firm opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Corporate Finance professional seeking greater responsibility, a clear route for progression and the opportunity to influence the future development of a growing team.

THE ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR ROLE

• Lead Corporate Finance transactions from initial engagement through to completion.
• Take primary responsibility for selected mandates with Partner or Director oversight.
• Manage predominantly sell-side transactions, including private equity-backed deals.
• Build trusted relationships with shareholders, management teams, investors and professional advisers.
• Prepare and review information memoranda, presentations and transaction documentation.
• Manage the full due diligence process, coordinating clients and external advisers.
• Contribute to commercial and legal negotiations throughout the transaction.
• Prepare pitch documents and play a leading role in client presentations.
• Produce and review financial valuations, modelling and investor returns analysis.
• Direct transaction and sector research, identifying relevant market activity and prospective buyers.
• Begin identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Build a network of private equity, legal, banking and wider professional contacts.
• Identify cross-service opportunities across the wider firm and group.
• Manage junior team members, allocate work and review output.
• Coach and develop colleagues while maintaining high standards of transaction delivery.
• Support Partners and Directors with the wider growth strategy for Corporate Finance.

ABOUT YOU

• ACA, ACCA, CFQ or equivalently qualified.
• Several years' experience within Corporate Finance.
• A demonstrable record of completing transactions.
• Strong sell-side transaction experience, ideally including private equity exposure.
• Able to lead transactions with appropriate senior oversight.
• Experienced in managing due diligence processes and working with legal and commercial advisers.
• Strong financial analysis, valuation and modelling capability.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Confident presenting and articulating findings to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Strong project-management skills with the ability to manage competing deal deadlines.
• Previous experience supervising and developing junior colleagues.
• An established or developing network of professional contacts.
• Commercially driven, proactive and motivated to contribute to business development.
