Ventro and Firntec are sister companies focused on fire-safety installation, maintenance and surveying services. Together the companies generate annual revenue of c.£50m. Due to rapid growth (organic and through acquisition), we are seeking a technically strong Corporate Finance & Reporting Manager as part of our finance team (total 10 people) based in Plymouth. Reporting to the CFO, we are looking for a qualified accountant to take a lead role in reporting/budgeting for the overall business and financial aspects of our acquisition programme. This will include producing management accounts for acquired entities before they are fully integrated.
Whilst the role has no initial direct reports, matrix/project management skills will be required. In addition, we anticipate strong growth and are looking for an individual who in time can build and motivate a small team.
Corporate finance experience, whilst advantageous, is not a pre-requisite as full training will be provided. The role would suit a practice accountant keen to broaden their skill-set in industry or an industry accountant interested in corporate finance.
