A high-growth financial services firm is seeking a Corporate Finance Executive to support its senior leadership team on a broad range of strategic and financial initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in end-to-end transaction execution, financial planning, capital management, and investment appraisal across a diverse international portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Finance & Planning
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decisions
- Analyse business performance, profitability, and financial trends
- Provide insights to senior leadership to guide long-term planning and scenario analysis
Capital Structure & Investor Engagement
- Support capital structure analysis and funding decisions across debt, equity, and internal resources
- Assist with arranging financing solutions and managing relationships with banks, investors, and rating agencies
M&A and Investment Analysis
- Evaluate potential acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments
- Conduct valuations using DCF, NPV, IRR and other methodologies
- Build business cases for major capital and strategic initiatives
Treasury & Risk Management
- Monitor and forecast cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability
- Contribute to working capital optimisation and financial risk management (including FX and interest rate risk)
Transaction Management
- Coordinate the full lifecycle of transactions from due diligence through to execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally to mitigate risks, resolve issues and meet key deliverables
- Track and manage transaction pipelines and provide regular updates to leadership
Executive Support
- Partner closely with ExCo on strategic planning and board-level matters
- Evaluate the financial impact of market and regulatory developments
- Prepare high-quality presentations and reports for senior stakeholders
Candidate Profile:
- Strong experience in M&A, corporate finance or strategic finance
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
- Sound understanding of accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) a plus
- Clear and confident communicator, able to engage senior stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant or CFA beneficial but not required
