Job summary

Dains Accountants in Birmingham is seeking a Corporate Finance Analyst to join the Corporate Finance team. The role supports delivery across M&A advisory, valuations, and due diligence, working with senior colleagues throughout the transaction lifecycle.

You will conduct financial analysis, build models and market research, and help prepare information memorandums and management presentations while pursuing AAT/ACCA and CA training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in audit or accounts within an accountancy practice.
• Begin studying your AAT or ACCA qualification alongside gaining hands-on experience.
• GCSE maths and English at grade 6 or equivalent.
• Minimum 112 UCAS points or equivalent (Excluding General Studies).
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Our Corporate Finance Team

Our Corporate Finance team is recognised for delivering high impact, award winning advisory services across the Midlands and beyond to a wide range of clients. With a strong track record of successful transactions, the team specialises in M&A, management buy outs, due diligence, and strategic planning.

As Corporate Finance Analyst you will support the delivery of a wide range of corporate finance assignments, working closely with senior colleagues to assist clients throughout the transaction lifecycle. You will play a key part in conducting financial analysis and market research, preparing financial models and valuations, supporting due diligence projects, assisting with the preparation of information memorandums and management presentations.
