Job summary

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service in St Asaph is seeking a Corporate Communications Officer on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover). The role is 30 hours per week with hybrid working, offering pro rata pay £36,581 to £39,481 per annum.

You will craft compelling content, support internal and external communications, manage digital and social media, and help protect the Service's reputation while gaining CIPR qualification funded by the organization.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a related subject or comms experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience delivering internal/external communications across channels.
• Experience creating content for digital and social media platforms.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage priorities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Welsh language skills to Level 4; fluent in English and Welsh.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with sound judgement.
