Corporate & Commercial Solicitor - 2-4 PQE - Wiltshire

Salary: £47,500 - £60,000 (dependent on experience and billing performance)

Location: Wiltshire (hybrid working available)

Type: Full-time, permanent

PQE: 2 to 4 years

A well-regarded regional firm is seeking a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor to join its dynamic and intellectually ambitious team. This is a strategic hire to support a high-performing Associate, who will directly supervise the successful candidate.

The Team

The Corporate & Commercial department advises a broad client base, including:

  • SMEs
  • Regional and international businesses
  • High-net-worth entrepreneurs

The team has particular expertise in sectors such as technology, media, energy, and landed estates. It comprises a mix of home-grown talent and ex-City lawyers, with several members bringing in-house experience.

The Role

You'll be supporting an Associate Solicitor on a range of corporate and commercial matters, including:

  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Supporting transactional work
  • Advising on business structuring and governance
  • This is a hands-on role with excellent exposure to high-quality work.
Candidate Profile

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has 2-4 years' PQE in corporate and commercial law
  • Has trained and worked at a reputable regional or City firm
  • Demonstrates strong drafting and communication skills
  • Is commercially astute and team-oriented
  • Is comfortable being supervised and understands the importance of team dynamics
  • Is keen to contribute to the firm's ethos and community initiatives
Working Environment
  • While flexible working is supported, this role will be primarily office-based to ensure effective supervision and integration with the team. The firm offers a supportive, inclusive culture and encourages involvement in pro bono and wider legal conversations.
