Job summary

Executive Network Legal Ltd is seeking a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor with 1–3 years' PQE to join its West Midlands team (Stourbridge / Wolverhampton). The role offers genuine responsibility, quality work and a clear route for progression within a forward‑thinking firm that invests in its people.

You will advise owner‑managed businesses, SMEs, directors and shareholders on a broad mix of corporate and commercial matters, including business sales, acquisitions and contracts.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' PQE in corporate and/or commercial law.
• Solid corporate/commercial experience gained during training or PQE.
• Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships and contribute to business development.

Responsibilities

• Advise owner‑managed businesses, SMEs, directors and shareholders on a varied caseload of corporate and commercial matters.
• Involved in business sales and acquisitions, company reorganisations, shareholder agreements, partnerships and commercial contracts.
• Develop trusted client relationships and contribute to the growth of the firm's Corporate & Commercial team.

A well-established and highly respected regional law firm is looking to appoint a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor with between 1 and 3 years' PQE to join its expanding team in the West Midlands. Working alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers, you'll advise a broad range of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, directors and shareholders on a varied caseload of corporate and commercial matters.

This is far more than a transactional role. You'll be involved in business sales and acquisitions, company reorganisations, shareholder agreements, partnership matters and commercial contracts, while developing trusted relationships with clients and becoming an integral part of their long-term business success.

The successful candidate will have gained solid corporate and/or commercial experience during their training contract or post-qualification career and will be looking to build on that foundation within a supportive and collaborative environment. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness and a genuine enthusiasm for business development will be key.
