The successful candidate will handle mergers, acquisitions, private equity investments and restructures, managing own caseload with supervision on larger deals.

Corporate Associate (2-4 PQE) | Leeds | £60,000 - £80,000

A highly regarded, award-winning regional law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its market-leading Corporate team in Leeds.

Recognised as one of the strongest corporate teams in Yorkshire, the firm has built an outstanding reputation for advising on high-value and complex transactions across a diverse client base. With continued growth and increasing demand for its expertise, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Corporate Solicitor looking to accelerate their career within a collaborative and high-performing team.

The successful Corporate Associate will work on a broad range of high-quality corporate matters while building long-term relationships with owner-managed businesses, SMEs and large corporates across a variety of sectors.

The role will include:

• Advising on mergers and acquisitions, including domestic and international transactions.
• Supporting clients on private equity investments, restructures and wider corporate advisory matters.
• Managing your own caseload of corporate matters with appropriate supervision while assisting senior lawyers on larger, more complex transactions.
• Working on transactions typically ranging from £5 million to £100 million+.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering commercially focused legal advice.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to provide seamless, multi-disciplinary advice.
• Playing an active role in networking and business development as you continue to develop your own practice.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a Corporate Solicitor with between 2 and 4 years' PQE.
• Have strong experience advising on corporate transactions, with M&A experience being essential.
• Possess excellent technical knowledge alongside strong commercial awareness.
• Be confident managing your own workload while supporting on complex transactions.
• Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Enjoy working collaboratively and be keen to develop across the full spectrum of corporate work.
• Be ambitious and motivated to progress within a growing, market-leading Corporate team.
