Title: Corporate Accountant

Sector: Private Credit

Venator Search are partnered with a leading Private Credit fund in their search for a Corporate Accountant to join their Mayfair based Finance team. The firm has grown year on year since inception and are looking for a qualified Accountant to assist in their future growth plans.

You will join a team of 4 qualified Accountants and be responsible for the month-to-month preparation and review of corporate accounts, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and adding financial analysis on quarter performance to be presented at board level.

Key responsibilities include:

• Review of prepared multi-currency company and management accounts
• Prepare consolidated statutory accounts under UK GAAP/IFRS
• Assisting in the preparation of the annual and quarterly budget updates (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash-Flow)
• Assist in the preparation of Board reports
• Liaising with UK based auditors and tax advisors, companies’ house
• Running month-end reports and providing financial analysis of performance vs budget
• Assisting with company’s administrative duties (compliance, policies)
• Assisting in the preparation of VAT, P11D’s and corporate tax returns
• Other ad-hoc responsibilities to support the overall team

The Candidate requirements:

• Qualified Accountant
• Hands on accounts preparation experience
• Financial services background preferred but not essential
• Knowledge of accounting software like NetSuite or equivalent is an advantage
• Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• Strong Excel analytical skills with an ability to understand, question and challenge a range of financial data
