Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Operative to cover properties across Cornwall. You will work flexibly, responding to maintenance requests and delivering a high standard of service.

Travel throughout Cornwall is required, with a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. This on-call role offers variety, independence, and the opportunity for ongoing work in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general maintenance or property maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Willingness to travel across Cornwall.
• Flexible, on-call availability.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repairs across Cornwall.
• Repair doors, windows, locks, walls and fixtures.
• Basic plumbing repairs including taps, toilets and blocked drains.
• Basic electrical tasks where qualified.
• Painting, decorating and touch-ups.
• Outdoor maintenance including gutters, patios, lawns and fencing.
• Identify and report larger maintenance issues.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain high workmanship and customer service.
