Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Multi Trade Operative to perform repairs and maintenance on homes across Cornwall. You’ll work in both empty and occupied properties, so reliability and strong customer service are essential.

Typical tasks include carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, decorating, tiling, and ensuring work is completed on the first visit where possible. A full UK driving licence is required, and a company van may be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Multi Trade Operative.
• Good all round skills in carpentry, plumbing, decorating and general maintenance.
• Experience in social housing or domestic work is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• General property repairs and maintenance.
• Carpentry – doors, locks, kitchens, fencing.
• Basic plumbing – taps, leaks, toilets and sinks.
• Tiling and patch repairs.
• Painting and decorating.
• Fixing problems on the first visit where possible.
• Completing work safely and to a high standard.
• Updating job records and reporting to your supervisor.
• Driving a company van between jobs.
