Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs in Dudley. The role focuses on building confidence, re-engaging with learning and achieving positive outcomes through tailored English, Maths and Science tuition.

You will deliver personalised lessons, monitor progress and work with families and schools to ensure the best support. DBS clearance and QTS or tutoring experience are desirable for this role.

Qualifications

• Must have enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• QTS or tutoring experience is desirable.
• Experience with SEN and barriers to learning.
• Ability to plan and deliver personalised lessons tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised one-to-one lessons tailored to each student’s needs and learning style.
• Deliver tuition in core subjects including English, Maths and Science.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEN and barriers to learning.
• Build positive relationships that promote confidence, engagement and love of learning.
• Monitor progress and adapt lesson plans to maximise outcomes.
• Complete weekly reports and provide feedback on attendance, engagement and progress.
• Collaborate with families, schools, local authorities and Remedy Tutors team to ensure student support.
• Maintain high safeguarding and professional standards at all times.

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teacher or Tutor looking for flexible and rewarding work? We have an exciting opportunity for experienced SEN Tutors to join our team in Dudley.

You’ll be providing one-to-one tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to build confidence, re-engage with learning and achieve positive educational outcomes. Students may have a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, etc.

Role Requirements

• Pay: £25-£35 per hour
• Location: Dudley
• Subjects: Core Subjects
• DBS: An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring experience is desirable.

The Role
