Job summary

Remedy Education seeks an experienced SEN Tutor to join our Dudley team for flexible, one-to-one tuition.

You will support students with SEN (ASD/ADHD/SEMH) to build confidence and re-engage with learning, delivering personalized lessons across core subjects and reporting progress to families and schools.

Qualifications

• DBS: Enhanced DBS with Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• QTS or relevant tutoring experience is desirable.
• Experience delivering SEN and one-to-one tutoring.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised one-to-one lessons tailored to each student’s needs.
• Deliver tuition in core subjects, including English, Maths and Science.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEN and barriers to learning.
• Build positive relationships that promote confidence, engagement and a love of learning.
• Monitor and assess progress, adjusting lesson plans to maximise outcomes.
• Complete weekly reports and provide regular feedback on attendance, engagement and progress.
• Collaborate with families, schools, local authorities and Remedy Tutors to ensure students receive the best possible support.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and professionalism at all times.

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teacher or Tutor looking for flexible and rewarding work? We have an exciting opportunity for experienced SEN Tutors to join our team in Dudley.

You’ll be providing one-to-one tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to build confidence, re-engage with learning and achieve positive educational outcomes. Students may have a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, etc.

Role Requirements

• Pay: £25-£35 per hour


• Location: Dudley


• Subjects: Core Subjects


• DBS: An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring experience is desirable.
