Job summary

Remedy Education in Dudley is seeking experienced SEN Tutors for one-to-one tuition, helping students with ASD, ADHD and related needs to build confidence and achieve positive outcomes.

Role involves planning and delivering core subject lessons, monitoring progress, completing weekly reports and collaborating with families, schools and Remedy Tutors team while maintaining safeguarding standards. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity with pay of £25-£35 per hour.

Qualifications

• DBS requirement: enhanced DBS (Update Service or willingness to obtain).
• QTS or relevant tutoring experience is desirable.
• SEN tutoring experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised one-to-one lessons tailored to each student's needs.
• Deliver tuition in core subjects, including English, Maths and Science.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEN and barriers to learning.
• Build positive relationships that promote confidence, engagement and love of learning.
• Monitor and assess progress, updating lesson plans to maximise outcomes.
• Complete weekly reports and provide feedback on attendance and progress.
• Collaborate with families, schools, local authorities and Remedy Tutors team for support.
• Maintain safeguarding and professional standards at all times.

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teacher or Tutor looking for flexible and rewarding work? We have an exciting opportunity for experienced SEN Tutors to join our team in Dudley.

You’ll be providing one-to-one tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to build confidence, re-engage with learning and achieve positive educational outcomes. Students may have a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, etc.
