Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a versatile Core Subjects Tutor to provide 1:1 educational support to a learner in Sefton. This role is 5–15 hours per week with an October 2026 start and ongoing duration.

You will cover English, Maths and other core subjects, tailoring sessions to the learner's starting point and monitoring progress. The ideal candidate has experience teaching or tutoring core subjects, a good knowledge of the secondary curriculum, and strong communication and organisational

• Experience working with young people.
• Flexible and adaptable teaching style.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to Work in the UK.
