Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking experienced SEN Tutors to join our team in Dudley. You will deliver one-to-one tuition to students with Special Educational Needs, helping them build confidence and re-engage with learning.

Sessions cover core subjects such as English, Maths and Science. DBS with Update Service is preferred, or willingness to obtain. QTS or relevant tutoring experience is desirable. You will provide weekly progress reports and work with families and schools.

Qualifications

• DBS check with Update Service preferred or willingness to obtain
• QTS or relevant tutoring experience desirable
• Experience delivering one-to-one SEN tuition is valuable

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver personalized one-to-one lessons tailored to each student’s needs and learning style.
• Deliver tuition in core subjects (English, Maths, Science).
• Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEN and barriers to learning.
• Build positive relationships to promote confidence, engagement and love of learning.
• Monitor progress and adapt lesson plans to maximise outcomes.
• Complete weekly reports and provide regular feedback on attendance and progress.
• Collaborate with families, schools and local authorities to support students.
• Maintain safeguarding and professional standards at all times.

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teacher or Tutor looking for flexible and rewarding work? We have an exciting opportunity for experienced SEN Tutors to join our team in Dudley.

You’ll be providing one-to-one tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to build confidence, re-engage with learning and achieve positive educational outcomes. Students may have a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, etc.

Role Requirements

• Pay: £25-£35 per hour
• Location: Dudley
• Subjects: Core Subjects
• DBS: An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring experience is desirable.

The Role
