Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking experienced SEN Tutors to provide one-to-one tuition in Dudley, helping students with ASD, ADHD and SEMH re-engage with learning. You will tailor lessons to individual needs and work closely with families and schools to maximise outcomes.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, regular progress reports and collaborative support from the Remedy Tutors team. DBS updates are required or willingness to obtain one, with pay of £25–£35 per hour.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised one-to-one lessons tailored to each student's needs and learning style.
• Deliver tuition in core subjects, including English, Maths and Science.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEN and barriers to learning.
• Build positive relationships that promote confidence, engagement and a love of learning.
• Monitor and assess progress, adapting lesson plans to maximise outcomes.

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teacher or Tutor looking for flexible and rewarding work? We have an exciting opportunity for experienced SEN Tutors to join our team in Dudley.

You'll be providing one-to-one tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to build confidence, re-engage with learning and achieve positive educational outcomes. Students may have a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, etc.

Role Requirements

• Pay: 25- 35 per hour


• Location: Dudley


• Subjects: Core Subjects


• DBS: An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring experience is desirable.
