Qualifications

• Experience as a Caretaker, Maintenance Technician, Facilities Assistant, Handyperson, Site Assistant or similar.
• Background in maintenance, construction, property or facilities.
• Possess or be willing to pursue a relevant trade qualification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain school buildings, grounds, fixtures, fittings and equipment.
• Carry out routine repairs, decorating, flooring and minor repairs.
• Install and maintain fixtures, respond to faults, monitor safety checks.
• Open the school, manage daily site safety and security checks.
• Prepare rooms for events and assist with deliveries and setup.
