Job summary

PAX in Manchester is seeking a skilled English content specialist to craft and refine brand copy for overseas markets, with a focus on authentic tone and localization.

You will edit drafts from the Chinese team, fix grammar, standardize voice, and develop engaging social media content tailored to European audiences. Collaboration with marketing will be key.

Strong writing, cultural awareness, and reliable communication are essential; basic Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• English speaker with strong understanding of European culture and social media communication styles.
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Experience in copywriting, content creation or social media management preferred; candidates with strong personal social media portfolios are welcome.

Job description

• Create, edit and polish original English copy for overseas markets, including brand copy, social media posts, product descriptions, marketing articles and promotional materials. Ensure all content sounds authentic, localised and aligns with overseas users’ linguistic habits.
• Review and revise all English drafts produced by the local Chinese team. Fix grammatical errors, unnatural phrasing, awkward sentence structures and culturally inappropriate expressions, and standardise the brand’s unified English tone of voice.
• Develop engaging social media content tailored to European culture, online slang and audience preferences to boost readability, reach and audience engagement.
• Track global market trends and viral online topics, continuously refine content styles and build a brand content system that resonates with local European audiences.
• Collaborate closely with marketing teams to deliver English copy support for all overseas marketing campaigns, maintaining consistent professionalism across all brand external communications.

Requirement

• English speaker with an in-depth understanding of European culture, internet slang and social media communication styles
• .Bachelor’s degree or above, no restriction on academic majors
• .Relevant professional experience in copywriting, content creation or social media management is preferred. Candidates without formal full-time experience are also welcome if they consistently run personal social media accounts, excel at original graphic & text creation and possess strong writing skills with a genuine passion for content production
• .Meticulous, reliable and easy to communicate with. Basic Chinese language ability is a strong plus
