Job summary

Vertiv Co in Derry/L'Derry seeks a Stock Controller to manage copper material inventory from receipt to production issue, ensuring precise transactions in Oracle and BRiK. You will monitor stock movements, perform cycle counts, and collaborate with Inward Goods, Production, Planning, Purchasing and Warehouse teams to secure material availability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller, Materials Controller, or Warehouse Inventory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle ERP.
• Experience using BRiK inventory or warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage all copper raw material inventory from receipt through to production issue.
• Ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions within Oracle and BRiK systems.
• Monitor stock movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Carry out regular cycle counts and support full physical inventory audits.
• Generate and analyse inventory reports using Excel.
• Reconcile stock balances between physical inventory and system records.
• Liaise with Inward Goods, Production, Planning, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
• Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or excess inventory.
• Support continuous improvement activities to enhance inventory control processes.
• Adhere to company health, safety, and quality standards.
