Job summary

Liverpool FC is seeking a Coordinator, Global Partnership Sales to support the Sales Team across key initiatives and help drive commercial revenue for the club. You will work with the Partner Strategy & Growth Team and internal stakeholders to support projects and sales efforts, with occasional travel.

The role sits in London-based operations, focusing on early prospecting, creating proposals, coordinating meetings, and maintaining brand updates for weekly Sales Pipeline meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (business/marketing) or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years in sponsorship, brand strategy, digital strategy, and/or sales.
  • Passion for sports marketing, media, advertising and sponsorship sales.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and work occasional evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Take a lead role identifying categories and brands for the sales team.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform pricing and strategy.
  • Identify new prospects and source decision-maker contact details.
  • Lead on reporting and capture of brand updates for Sales meetings.
  • Join prospect calls and meetings to take notes shaping materials.
  • Build and manage sales presentations, proposals and materials.
  • Develop company reports ahead of sales calls with prospects.
  • Prepare biographies for Sales Team and Executives.
  • Identify industry events and create an annual events calendar.
  • Organize weekly Sales Pipeline meetings with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate communication with internal stakeholders for requests.
  • Manage scheduling and administrative tasks for the Sales Team.
  • Draft internal documents such as Proposal and Contract Briefing Forms.

We are looking for a Coordinator, Global Partnership Sales to join the team at Liverpool FC. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the LFC Sales Team across all key sales initiatives, helping to drive significant commercial revenue for LFC. The role will provide support across all projects and sales efforts, working closely with the LFC Sales Team, Partner Strategy & Growth Team and other Internal stakeholders.

What will you be doing?
  • Take a lead role in the early identification and targeting of categories and brands for the sales team to focus on.
  • Proactively monitor industry trends and competitor activity to ensure LFC sales team is fully across market shifts, activity and pricing.
  • Identify new sales prospects and source key decision maker contact details. Research new and existing prospects to identify sales hooks to support outreach and proposition development.
  • Lead on the reporting and capturing of up-to-date brand updates for Global Sales Call meetings
  • Join relevant prospect calls and meetings alongside the LFC Sales Team, to take notes that will shape future sales materials (mostly virtual with travel on occasion).
  • Build and manage sales presentations, proposals, and other materials alongside the LFC Sales Team, design team and internal stakeholders, ensuring that the content, flow and narrative addresses prospect needs and questions.
  • Develop company reports in advance of sales calls with new prospects.
  • Prepare company biographies for the Sales Team and Senior Executives.
  • Identify key industry events and opportunities for LFC to be present within the brand / advertising industry, building this out into an annual calendar of events for the sales team to attend.
  • Lead the organization of the weekly Sales Pipeline meeting for the LFC Sales Team and VP, Global Partnership Sales, planning the agenda alongside relevant Internal LFC Stakeholders
  • Manage communication with Internal LFC Stakeholders across the Club on behalf of the LFC Sales Team, to support sales requests and prospect conversations.
  • Manage administrative efforts on behalf of the LFC Sales Team, including scheduling meetings with Internal and External Stakeholders.
  • Draft internal documents, such as Proposal Briefing Form and Contract Briefing Form for the LFC Sales Team to review and send to relevant Internal Stakeholders.
Who are we looking for?
  • Bachelor’s Degree (degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience within sponsorship, brand strategy, digital strategy, and/or sales for a rights holder, brand, agency, or within a corporate setting.
  • Passion for sports marketing, media, advertising, and sponsorship sales.
  • A great teammate and can-do attitude.
  • Innovative and well-organised with a strong work ethic and a desire/willingness to learn.
  • Aggressive, self-motivated team player that has the ability to focus on individual and team goals.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation-building skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to work with a broad cross-section of functional internal teams.
  • Available to travel domestically, work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
