Job summary

Vale of Glamorgan Council is seeking a dedicated kitchen/food service assistant to join the team at Southway Residential Home. The post offers 37 hours per week across a 4-week rota, with shift patterns from 8am to 4pm and enhanced rates for unsociable hours, weekends, and bank holidays.

You will be part of a team delivering a reliable, quality meal service in a supportive environment. The role requires a willingness to participate in training, good teamwork, and effective communication.

About The Role

Grade 5- £27,709 to £29,542 pro rata, £14.36/hr to £15.31/hr.

Hourly rate enhancements are paid for unsociable hours, weekends, and bank holidays (plus lieu day for bank holidays)
