Ceredigion County Council is recruiting a Cook in Charge for Plascrug Primary School, Aberystwyth, on a permanent basis. You will run the school kitchen day-to-day, preparing and serving dinners and special diets while adhering to food safety and environmental health standards.

We are looking to recruit a Cook in Charge to join our Catering team at Plascrug Primary School, Aberystwyth on a permanent basis.

You will be expected to manage the school kitchen on a day-to day basis according to the standards laid down by Ceredigion County Council.

The role includes:

• Preparation and service of school dinners for pupils at the school.
• Preparation of special diets for pupils as required.
• Ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards.
• Ensuring EEC standards on Manual Handling.
• General Health and Safety of kitchen including hazardous equipment and premises.
