A healthcare organization is seeking a skilled institutional cook responsible for preparing food for various services, ensuring food safety compliance, and maintaining high cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate will have a culinary degree or equivalent experience and be proficient in food handling and safety practices.
Responsible for preparing food for the dining room, patients, and special functions under the general direction of the Food Production Manager.
At least two years of institutional cooking experience or an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts. Food Safety Certification required from an approved vendor. Ability to read, write, use simple arithmetic, and keep records. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels. Proficiency in English required.
