The Millcroft Inn & Spa in Alton, ON is seeking a Cook 1 to join our team. This role offers flexibility and the chance to work with a tenured team in a well-regarded property.

Qualifications include Red Seal Certification, strong knife skills, and Safe Food Handler’s Certificate. Minimum three years’ experience preferred; WHMIS knowledge and a professional work ethic are required.

• Assist other team members as needed
• Maintain a clean work area
• Assists with quality control
• Performs stock rotation
• Adhere to food standards set out by Lais Hotel Properties’ kitchen management
• Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties’ products and services
• Suggesting additional products and services meeting our Guests’ specific preferences
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and refrigerators
• All other duties as assigned

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity
