Job summary

OurCoop Little Pioneers in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cook to be the nursery's nutrition expert, preparing and serving healthy, balanced meals for children and educating families on healthy choices.

You will work within Food Standards Agency guidelines, applying HACCP and COSHH requirements, and you will be supported by Enhanced DBS and full training. We offer flexible 4-day weeks, generous annual leave, and substantial childcare discounts.

Qualifications

• Food Hygiene level 2 or equivalent
• Sound knowledge of food safety, HACCP and COSHH requirements

What will the role involve?

As our Cook, you will be the expert nutritionist for the nursery, responsible for the preparation and serving of healthy and nutritionally balanced meals. You will support the team to enable families to make healthy food choices and educate our children in the importance of balanced food choices. Working alongside our society’s policies and procedures, you will ensure compliance with the Food Standards Agency and work to the highest standards.
