Hours: 16 hours per week, rota basis

Pay: £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum pro rata)

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cook to join our team, responsible for kitchen duties including food ordering, menu planning, and ensuring health & safety regulations are followed. You will also manage stock recording and expenditure, plan and prepare meals catering to diverse dietary needs, and oversee kitchen cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee kitchen management as directed by the service manager.
2. Order supplies and maintain stocks.
3. Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and related areas.
4. Maintain stock records and conduct stock checks.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous catering experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Understanding of confidentiality principles.
• Flexibility and sensitivity towards vulnerable people.

Additional Information

Work pattern: 5 days per week on a 7-day rolling rota, 10am to 1:15pm daily. An Enhanced DBS check is required, which we will pay for.
