Job summary

Hartford Care Limited is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare home-style meals for our residents in Ramsgate. You will contribute to a warm, caring environment, ensuring nutritious and appetising dishes are produced with high standards of hygiene.

The role requires a Basic Food Hygiene Certification, good communication, and the ability to work as part of a busy kitchen team operating from 8am to 6pm across a 7-day pattern.

Qualifications

• Must have a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Ability to follow dietary restrictions and individual dietary needs.
• Strong communication and organisation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present nutritious, appetising meals for residents.
• Keep the kitchen running smoothly and safely, adhering to hygiene standards.
• Demonstrate care, warmth and hospitality in food service.
• Be flexible to work across a 7-day pattern and shifts from 8am to 6pm.
