Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd in Bembridge, Isle of Wight, is seeking a part-time Chef to provide home-cooked meals for residents, with a focus on nutrition and food hygiene. The role supports a caring team in a welcoming home environment.

You will prepare, cook and present a variety of appetising meals, accommodate dietary needs, and participate in menu planning and kitchen duties. A compassionate nature and good communication are essential, along with flexibility in working hours.

Job description

This position also includes a welcome bonus payment of £2,000 on successful appointment. T&Cs apply

Employment Type: PartTime / 30hours per week

Home: Inver House, Bembridge

The Role

As a Chef, you will provide home-cooked, nutritious and appetising meals and snacks for residents while ensuring good food hygiene is maintained at all times, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are preparing and cooking a three course meal, discussing with residents what they would like to see on next week’s menu, doing a bread making activity session with residents, or carrying out a deep clean of the kitchen, you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
