As a Chef, you will work 8:00am – 4:00pm every Saturday and Sunday, taking responsibility for the planning, preparation, cooking, and service of nutritious, high‑quality meals within the hospital. You will ensure all kitchen activities and operations are carried out in line with operational standards, food hygiene requirements, and statutory regulations.
We are looking for a skilled and organised Chef with NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) and a basic food hygiene qualification. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional kitchen, preparing high‑quality meals for large groups while working to deadlines and budget. You will have strong communication and organisational skills, a good understanding of specialised diets including dysphagia and allergens, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
