Job summary

CareTech Community Services in Paignton, Devon, is seeking a part-time Kitchen Manager for a 6-month fixed term contract to oversee meals for a school catering environment. The role is 20 hours per week during term time, with responsibilities including menu planning, staff supervision, and ensuring food safety standards.

You will be part of a supportive team delivering fresh, healthy meals for students with SEMH needs, with DBS and safeguarding checks part of the process.

The school:

Devon School is an independent specialist provision for students aged 7 to 18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. We provide a nurturing and supportive environment where students can access learning that is tailored to their individual needs.
